As we know, the Movement Towards Socialism of Morales was a big disappointment (although most of us probably saw that coming). Recently, however, I read (http://www.marxist.com/bolivia-morales-government180107.htm) about workers in Cochabamba (3rd largest city) taking matters into their own hands. Apparently there have conflicts between mineworkers and the capitalists and it seems like the people are demanding more change.
"Roberto Chavez, the general secretary of the FSTMB (Bolivian Miners’ Union), spoke to Alan Woods about the conditions of the miners and their role in the class struggle in Bolivia. Their view is that the Morales government is not going far enough. They want serious, radical change."
Check it out. (http://www.marxist.com/bolivia.htm)
