Vol. Colin Maguire Memorial
The Dublin-based widow of Liverpool-born INLA Volunteer Colin Maguire, who
died while a PoW in a 26 County jail in the 1987 has stated that a
memorial to his memory will be unveiled on Sunday, February 4th at 2pm.
The assembly point will be at the gates of the Old Cemetary at Glasnevin,
in Dublin. Those gathered will form-up behind a local band. A parade to
his grave side will follow, where a short commemorative ceremony will take
place.
Mrs. Maguire concluded her message: "Hope to see that his dedication is
not forgotten, so I and friends extend this open invitation to anyone who
wishes to attend".
