View Full Version : Propaganda for the Masses

I've created a new blog-based alternative news site at www.propagandaforthemasses.org. I guess it will be something like indymedia but I want to draw more radical and revolutionary-minded users to it.
The server has limited space so older news posts will get deleted after a while.
The site is pretty much in testing mode at the moment so there are a few issues I'm trying to sort out: at the mo, when you sign up you don't get automatically added as a member (to post straight away) so I will check for new users regularly and promote them. Also, members have the ability to edit other peoples' posts  So until I find a way to disable this - or find better blogging software - I ask you to respect other articles!
Pro-fascists, racists, etc will have accounts deleted, as will people who don't follow the guidelines already posted.
Anyways, hope to see some of you there!

Oh well that's pretty cool. I've promised myself to start a blog long ago, but I guess thinking of a flashy title has always been a struggling block, I'm terrible at making up names! :o
But seriously, it looks nice, good luck with this.

What about "The Best Blog the in Universe" or "What Would Stalin Blog"?
Anyway, litium, good to see you developing your writing and journalistic skill to share them with the masses. Keep up to good work ;)

is that a wiki site? I could edit posts on it I had not posted. Wiki's are nice, but leftist ones that may have fash's come over might not be.

Yeah that's one problem with the software I'm using: members can edit other members' posts. For the moment I'm keeping an eye on posts to make sure nothing like that happens, and that any user who does gets booted. If I can't find better software as it gets busier, I'll appoint moderators just to check through posts and make sure the site isn't being hijacked by the fash.
Could do with more members and posts at the moment though! JOIN UP PEOPLE!

yo dude, can you stop sending me trackback emails?
lithium

Strange... I don't send out any... I'll take a look at the settings and see if I can block trackbacks altogether. I've placed a ban on domains that are sending trackbacks to the posts. Sorry about that, I'll see if I can sort it out.

Ok should be sorted now. I'll keep an eye out in case any more get through.
