It's June Uprising in Paris, 1848. The workers are holding a barricade against the French army. You can see the red flag hoisted on the barricade, and a tricolore flying in the hands of the soldiers.

Oil paintings never convert well digitally. I am sure it is much more impressive in person.

Did you apply an oil painting filter on an oilpainting? Or is the original like that?
