Hmmm......first this isnt no anarshiste movement at all and we all know that, second the funny thing is that ur taking the situation in lebanon as the other team (the opposition) is againt the US supporting in Lebanon.....ok i'm a lebanese communist outside the LCP,let me tell you how i see it going in lebanon....the opposition slogans is the dream of every leftist in the country & i cant deny this, but let me ask you a question: if the oppostion now took place in governement, there would be no povrety in lebanon? or is it the socialist revolution we all are looking for in this country!!!......we as leftist should read whats happening around us in the bigger image!...14 of march is fooled by the democracy US is offering but at least they are working on making it happening against whats the oppostion is trying to do! look at both teams ideologie... the oppostion team is trying to take us million of years in history back to a relegious country where democracy have no place, the governement team is trying to take us to a libarel country....and between relgious or capitalist country i found it easy to choose the capitalist country instead of going back in history!.....my friend i found it funny how leftist are fooled and are part of whats happening in lebanon! we all love the image we saw on out tv's but let us not be fooled !!!!! and plz i dont want you to take what i said here as i'm defending Senioria governement ,but if i want to be a part of whats happening in lebanon i choose the Senioria team!!!.....

Comrade x_ihag ,
Let me say first that im happy to know a comrade from Lebanon !
Im sure that our comrades and friend inside Lebanon relize the
situation more than some one like me lives outside Lebanon but
at least im trying to understand what is going on !
I don't think that the opposition can take Lebanon back to the
religios time because there are some groups like LCP and other
christians parties will stop that ! even if Hizbollah stronger .. beside
that i think you will agree with me that the lebanese people have
their special and free culture which it's different of the other countries
in the middle east !
in any way i opend this topic not to show my view but to discuss
the Lebanese issue with other comrades and believe me i wont
agree with the opposition if their acts may take Lebanon to a civil war
or to " El-Khlifa " time !
" Bekhsos El-karameh Wel Sha'b El-Aneed ! " ;)
and excusme for the longest replay in my life :D

let's say that the situation got really bad, specially on thursday 24 ... i think we are stuck somewhere were a part want lebanon to evolve financially specially in the tourism sector (this part is closer to france or the US) and the other part believes in the Palestinian cause and how we are involved in that because the lebanese issue won't be solved untill all the case is solved in the middle east ... and the opposition leaders speaks about syria and iran 's "friendship" with lebanon ...
who's right , who's wrong is very relative because it's a different perspective !
and i think it is all getting on the lebanese heads , thursday was a hint of what could happen ... although i don't think a civil war can really take place because there is hezbollah who is trained very well and armed , other than that there is no real army other than the lebanese army ... but if they don't find a way to solve it more lebanese people will die in vain ... those people are dying with no real cause ... ye3ni yesterday i almost felt we were in the palestinian streeets !!! stones coming from everywhere !!! but Palestinians fight against the enemy , we fight against each other ... didn't anyone learned anything about the civil war ?!!! WAKE UP lebanon !

1. this is not going to be a civil war like the one that was fought in the past, since christians and muslims (or at least, shia) are standing side by side
2. Hezbollah has always said it would not impose an Islamic State
3. Siniora and his stooges should fuck off, the people obviously dont want them. Also i find it "nice" how Siniora never deployed the Army to defend his people from the Israelis but now when they stand up against him the soldiers are everywhere.
am i right, or am i right?

if a civil war would take place it wouldn't be between christians and muslim , it will more be Shi'a Vs Sunit ... but in all case i dont think a war would take place at least not like the one that happened in the past ... but in all cases there will be dammages because each part is very stubborned and there is no way - till now- for a settle for this issue , until then all the country is just waiting and until then all the lebanese will be loosing ...

maybe in ur own perspective u find ur self right! ..... but lets see...u say there would be no civil war bcoz christians and muslims are side by side, well what we saw on tusday and on thursday was christians against chritians and muslims against muslims...maybe we can call this new kind of civil war! huh?.....second u say that Hezbollah would not impose an Islamic State..u seem so sure about it! i say he dont have to impose one coz he alrady have one!.....and finally u say that seniro and his stooges should fuck off bcoz ppl dont want them!....i found that reason so pathatic, coz if u want to take it that way, there is ppl who want them to stay!.....so do u still think ur right?
...and Comrade Umano excuse me for my reaction ! ;) welcome abord !

Haven't the Hezbollah and Free Patriots been joined by the trade unions?
They might actually achieve something positive now.

As long as the country is still embroiled in domestic conflict, then I'm sure Israel will be cheering but should Hezbollah gain the upper hand, then they're probably going to regret it deeply.

Yeah Israel will be happy as long as no one is in control in Lebanon and the Lebanese people are busy fighting each other.

What, you'd rather them stop fighting each other and have a bunch of pro-US shitbags in charge?

i think it won't be solved unless its a Win to Win situation ... the Pro-US and the opposition are both in the country and its no way one of them will just give up and loose and they both have a very big crowed supporting them ... but its true that israel is happy with the chaos that is happening in lebanon and she will do her best to take advantage of it and make even more chaos...

I don't think that was G22's point but a civil war, especially if it's not going to be conducive to our movement, is something that should be avoided as it only splits and hurts the Lebanese people in the end.

Yeah, my point was that Israel will be content with having the Lebanese killing each other, as long as Hezobollah is pre-occupied with the fighting, to tell you the truth both sides are useless. We don't need a pro-US govt. and we don't need a Hezobollah led theocratic govt., nor a Baathist, pro Syrian govt.

At last the victim is Lebanon ..
Iran ( Shi'a ) wants a powerful Hizbollah against Israel and USA
Saudi Arabia ( Sunna ) wants to stop the hand of Iran in Lebanon
USA wants the security of Israel
France wants to restore the place as a protector of Lebanon
well , I see that every side wants something :D

if u saw this site "http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8326734789464462895&q=Zarka"
u'll see that what Umano said is so true , in the film they compare our country to a place where other countries play "Risk" on it , i think its the case of all the middle east (without israel of course lol )
and it seems it won't be solved soon because now they postponed the lebanese and arabic universities till monday 5 february ...

So the Lebanese comrades do agree that Siniora's government cannot be allowed to stay in power.
Right?
