I read that some maoists and SLP deleonists do this stuff in USA. Are you involved in it? I would be pleased to get any informations as:
- How to get in touch with prisoners that you didn't know before they were imprisoned,
- Are there many laws against sending materials,
And every yours experience on it.

There are websites out there that will let you mail letters to prisoners and such. I have also heard of left-wing bookstores who distribute literature of all types to prisoners who request it.

The Free People's Movement offers free subscriptions of its publications to prisoners.
How to get in touch with prisoners that you didn't know before they were imprisoned,
Just write them a letter. Tell them who you are, and ask them if they'd like you to send them anything.
Are there many laws against sending materials,
Each prison has its own specific rules. Many wont let you send books (you have to buy them from an online bookstore and have them sent directly to the prisoner), and there are often limits on the number of pictures or pages that can be sent in one envelope.
Alot of time they can only receive newspapers and magazines directly from the publisher.
The only way to find out is to ask the prisoners themselves, by writing an introductory letter.

The Anarchist Black Cross Federation used to be called the The Anarchist Red Cross Fed' during the Russian revolution but changed their name to avoid being confused with The Red Cross.
They do a lot of prisoner solidarity in the 1st world and you can contact them or read up about prisoner solidarity here;
