Health care in the US has pretty much gone down the drain with all the budget slashes. It's going to take more than a tax deduct to get it on par with what other industrialized nations have.

This plan solves nothing. While it will make healthcare more affordable for 3-4 million it still leaves over 40 million unable to afford it. Not to mention it will encourage corporations to stop offering healthcare plans, thus forcing people to use the much more expensive (and often unreliable) private health insurance. So in the long run it will probably make things worse.
