usually when this happens. there's a huge! law-suit. for millions of dollars. So if there's no money. how would the family be "re-paid" for either their loss of a loved one. or a severe defect someone has to live with.

Obviously, they will need to get the materials and resources necessary in order to properly take care of the individual thus no malpractice suit is necessary because they will be automatically "compensated". That's just how communism works.
