I have been sceptical about 'Global Warming' for a while, but last night David Attenborough brought me to my senses. I have had doubts as to whether global warming a) exists, b) is as bad as people say it is and c) might not be a good thing. But having watched his show last night, I am as sold on Global Warming as everyone else. May your chosen deity bless you, David Attenborough!

Apparently he too was sceptical about global warming but now accepts it: Climate Change is the Major Challange facing the World (http://news.independent.co.uk/environment/article570935.ece)

Now all we need to do is convince David Bellamy.

The only way to convince big business is to convince their market.

a) exists
There's no denying that the Earth is now warmer than it has been for several centuries. However, we still haven't reached the record yet of course.

The thing is that although few deny that global warming is occuring, scientists are still debating on whether it's human-caused or if it's natural. Also, there is further debate on the future consequences of global warming since climate models are not always correct/accurate.

b) is as bad as people say it is
There's definitely been way too much hype and hysteria to the point that any strange natural phenomenon is being blamed on it.

c) might not be a good thing.
Even if it's a natural cycle, it's not going to be good for humans and other organisms.

All of you need to watch 'An Inconvenient Truth.' It is a film by Al Gore. Watching it really opened my eyes.

Whatever we do, the planet is going to get a whoooole lot hotter. I mean, I'm all for protecting the environment, but there's no need to be hysterical hypemonsters about it.
