Well I don't think this place is completely communist. There are many socialists, anarchists, socio-anarhcists and shit loads of others here. But I suppose we can all be umbrella grouped if you like.

The ranks were those given during the Cuban Revolution. The ranks are here just for a wee bit of fun.

Also the provider of the board supplies them, it would take a lot of time and effort for the admin. (Malte) to delete each one individually. They're just a bit of eye candy and don't bear any relevance.

But seriously, if you look in the FAQ box you will find that they are just to encourage people to post, and they are just eye candy and fun.
