What do people think about the descrimination people of the left, i.e. the red scare and the macarthy trials? I mean obviously a lot of various groups suffered over the years but could leftists be considered amongst the major victims?
I certainly think so.

There were some non-communists who were affected but in the end, socialists and communists were the most effected in the movement was severely damaged physically and ideologically due to the smear campaigns used.
