I wasn't really enthusiastic about this film until now. It looks to be pretty good. I still wish Gael García Bernal would play the role of Che, his likeness to Che is uncanny, and he's also a great actor. But hopefully Benicio will step up and really play the role.

So we have another million 14 year olds wearing Che shirts yet knowing nothing about him or his ideals?

Most likely, but if we can't turn these movies to our advantage theres something lacking in us. If anything else, there'll be plenty more opportunities to stop said 14-yr olds and going "you do know who that is, right? And what he stood for?" Any of them who doesn't respond positively gets a slap round the head, the shirt ripped from their backs, and ridicule heaped upon them until our throats are raw. So sayeth I

Did you see that movie! The balls of Andy Garcia.

Che comes out with a smirk and says to the Andy Garcia character, "So you're the dancer." Then later after the Garcia character enquires after his friend Che says," Have you ever read [the maxims] La Rouchefoucauld? He said men can't face two things: the sun and death. We executed your friend this morning."

I don't see anything wrong with 14 million more kids wearing Che shirts. They will have watched the movies. Kids aren't that dumb! Don't be so elitist to think that people are to dumb to understand things.

You really don't understand popular culture do you? I'm not being elitist, I know for a fact how stupid some people are and they will wear Che shirts cause it's cool or whatever dumb reason.

I'm wearing a Che shirt right now actually! :) But at least I know who he is and what he did.

LOl omg, I didn't think anyone else saw this horrific movie. I just felt sooo much...anger when I saw this piece of shit. My dad rented it from Netflix and I read the description in which it talks about his brother tryin to lead a revolution of some sort. So I gave it a shot but man o man. That movie just romanticizes Andy Garcia into some sort of peaceful hero and womanizer of his brother's wife. Shit had me turning off the film once I saw that part with Che. Utterly crap.

Does anyone else think that Liam Neeson looks just like Fidel. Obviously when Fidel was younger. But I think he would be awsome for the role. He's a terrific actor, one of my favorites.

Obviously, also, when Liam was younger. :)
I just was never sure if anyone else made that connection, or if I was crazy.
but I think Liam looks pretty much the same now as he did 10 years ago.
