hmm books, i can say a good little one is Communist Manifesto, By karl Marx. Another good one to get is, THE Essential works of Lenin, by vladimir lenin. it has four of his most powerful essays and deals heavily with communism/socialism. A good book on Che, is A Revolutionary Life,by Jon Lee Anderson. that is very interestng and sh ould get u more involved. For now thats all i can think of, if u can find a book by trotsky or some type of writings i suggest that. Finally I suggest u head down to your library and, look into the Encyclopedia of Philosophy. IN their u can look up all hte communist idealogies. Look up things like, Historical Materialism, Dialectical Materialsm, and even look up Freidrich Hegel. Who is really a key influence of marx and is where much of communist idealogies come from. Marx and engels just applied them to there views. hope that helps. peace

the rage against the machine web site has a good reading list. I personally recommend What uncle sam really wants by Chomsky, Cuba and the United States by Jane Franklin and i'm reading Fidel-a critical portrait by Szulc. so far I like the book(i'm at 2/3 right now).
enjoy......
