Since I read the thread about shoplifting on this forum, I have started doing it more and more often, and I think I'm addicted. Seriously, I can't walk into a shop without planning how to steal things! I went to town the other day without any money specifically so I could shoplift my lunch! I get such a buzz from doing it, help! :D

I find books are easiest to steal, but make sure it doesnt have a security tag. And CCTV cameras are very rarely being watched so just go for it. Oh, and whisky/vodka/gin etc are very very very easy to swipe. Jack Daniels is easiest, cos of the shape of the bottle.

Here's my favoured technique.
1. Buy a broadsheet newspaper. The Guardian is good for lefty news.
2. Carry it into the store with it under your arm.
3. Casually pick something up, examine it and move on to another part of the shop.
4. Slip the item into the newspaper.
5. Return to where you picked it up and pretend to put it back.
6. Check discretely for security tags!!!
7. Leave the shop confidently.

Uhm... I would not excatly advocate shoplifting. First of all there is the legal consquences, and then there is the psychological ones. Starting to steal, unrestricted, will eventually lead you to a very egocentrical way of thought, ie a true capitalist. It is not yours for the taking, regardless of the business you are stealing from and how financially (evil) wealthy they are. The leftist thing to do is to protest, boycott, or actively oppose the business, not steal like some common ... uhm ... thief...

Yeah but man... it's so easy! And so much fun! But yeah, it's naughty. Don't do it kids.

Being a prostitute is easy. Well, at least when youre going to do it only steal from big chain stores. From many places the workers have to pay for the products shoplifted themselves. If youve read the part of the Communist Manifesto about the proletarians ruining for the proletarians, then this is a wonderful example.

Blah blah blah.

OK, yes only steal from rich scum or big companies. Don't steal from comrades or people who might be comrades or could be come comrades.

This includes the petite-bourgeoisie.

Second, stealing from the above mention (rich or big) does not hurt the workers. Most places pay a minimum wage, they are not going to deduct pay for loss of product. Most places accept that a certain amount of product will go missing get damaged or whatever (not to so that they won't try and stop you from stealing the stuff). They factor the loss of product into their budgets.

Third, this has been brought up heaps of times before. There are heaps of other threads, do a search if you want more techniques or whatever.

I work in a shop. Don't make it suspious. It makes us feel like we should do something or we'll get in trouble.

A friend of mine recently got busted for attempting to shoplift at a local Meijer.

He's such a dumbshit though, he was wearing this HUGE coat that was so suspicious, and he doesn't bother to take the tags off of anything when he walks out.

But about the subject, I'm not usually one to shoplift unless I feel VERY safe about getting away.

i havent shoplifted in a veeeery long time. and i got caught in 6th grade once. making a regular habit out of shoplifting can be very dangerous too. if you keep doing it on a regular basis you will eventually make a mistake and get caught, with potentially bad consequences. you could just get kicked out or banned from the store, but you can also be prosecuted and sent to jail, depending on how much of a hardass the employee who catches you is. to be safe, just dont shoplift unless you have no money and you really need something.

I steal CDs and books all the time and never get caught. Though I only steal from chain stores, and never from "mom and pop" ones.

It's easier to just download CD's no? Books are a ***** to to read on a computer imo, but they're the one thing I have no qualm about buying so it's no biggie. I don't shoplift or advocate it, but I know people who do, and it doesn't bother me.
