Looking at the news this past week, I see an increased amount of far-right wing activity, local, national and global.
In this area of England, the once equal-party council has now become purely conservative, and art buildings and community centres are being replaced by uber capitalist evangelical churches. It seems to be that this democracy has been undermined by right wing capitalists who seem to be creeping in.
Not just petty local problems either. A new far-right [loose] political party has made a coalition in the E.U: BBC News (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6251561.stm) which worries me on the projected political direction that europe is headed.
Firstly, what are peoples opinions on that news story and the destined position of the EU, England and america?
and secondly, does anyone have some contrary information, to maybe put my mind at ease? :unsure: because I have some serious worries right now about the state of political direction! hope this isnt a petty question, but I would like to hear views, opinions and any other queries on this!
