Id like to know the views of people on japan relating to the crimes of wwII they never really appologised for the crimes in china the phillipens and burma i personally feel disgust towards japan and america for not prosecuting the men who commited these crimes and allowing them to stay or gain power. what are youre views?

Hardly surprising given the direction Japan took after the war. The CIA and the Japanese government resorted to all sorts of tricks throughout the war to keep the rightwing in power, and lrt's face it, much of the right wing there don't think they did anything wrong during the war.

Same as that of america not admitting their own crimes, however it must be understood, that to an extent it's not the people that should be viewed as the cause of this sterilization, and overlooking of historical crimes, but the bourgeoisie of japan, I mean it is hard, irrational, and down right idiotic to deny crimes when you have footage of things such as the rape of nanking, and such, however, the bourgeoisie have a very old and strong hold on the people of japan; groups, and organizations are everything, so if you dissent, and cause trouble for the hands that feed you are instantly kicked out, dishonored, and such, have no life or livelihood connections and no alternatives, hence why you don't see a lot of japanese citizens urging the government to extend a formal apology.

Comparing with Japan, Germans gain the respect of the world, because they admitted and apologized for their crimes in WW II.

Japan is one of the most racist nations on the planet. They apparently have a policy of state-antisemitism.

Historically they have been a racist nation, though I am unsure if this idea of superiority is still intertwined into the modern japanese society, but anti-semitism? From what I understand when the german diplomats began urging imperial japan to start oppressing, and degrading the jews in japan and within the japanese colonies, the japenese leaders didn't because the jews had been nice to the japanese people and powers, and thus the japanese had no problems with the jews.

Never heard of it. Besides, how many Jews are there in Japan?

Not just that but the current ultranationalist trend in Japan is particularly disturbing such as the requirement of teaching kids to be patriotic and the distortion (or lack) of content concerning the Sino-Japanese war and the Japanese crimes.

the russian navy got completely owned by the japanese. its understandable that they would have alot of antipathy towards each other. the japanese nationalism of oday would never allow any sort of recognition of the atrocities they committed during ww2. i doubt they'll take responsibility any time soon.

Try anti-foreign. Besides, there are few Russians in Japan as opposed to South Koreans and Chinese.

I have read somewhere that Jews are informally not allowed to take up positions in the state in Japan.

It's not just the CIA and ultranationalists that are mucking around with the Japanese right. The Yakuza has powerful connections within the conservative establishment, as does the Buddhist equivalent to the U.S. relifious-right.

Whats with the hate soley on Japan? When you look at history, crimes against humanity have been committed in just about every part in the world. China and Burma are no exceptions. Hate the master, not the slaves.

Not just the Koreans but also the Chinese as well (those two make up the greatest portion of the foreign residents in Japan).

In Japan, the xenophobic attitudes are much more ingrained and institutionalized than in any other industrialized nation.
