okay castro's sick(just in case you've been living in a cave), and i just read the cover article of Foreign Policy, which i must admit is a good mag. anyways it was a debate of essays between tow cuban scholars on wheter castro "failed cuba" or he saved it from Batista, and whether "Cuban communism" will exist after his death, or will it fall apart under Raul's rule. (Lol, thats fun to say)

now i want to here the majority opinion just for shits and giggles

While I definitely don't like Castro because he has absolute power and just because of the fact that I don't like hierarchy, I do have to admit that Cuba under the rule of Batista was far worse than it is now.

What I think will happen is something along the lines of China, little by little to stay on power the Communist Party will Adopt Capitalism. What I hope will happen is a ground up Mass movement against the Communist Party itself and against Capitalism. In Cuba there are a lot of Democratic institutions, such as popular assembalies and the such that I hope gain a lot more power after Castro, but due to the United States interest in the country I doubt that will happen.
