With my Christmas money I went to wooden shoe, a local anarchist bookshop and finally got a copy. I've been wanting it for awhile but I read through some of the first chapter and realized that my vocabulary isn't as sharp as I thought it was. Does anyone know if it gets any easier to read or am I going to be forced to read through 700 pages with an open dictionary next to me.

Certain parts are easier to read than others, but it goes in no particular order.

Alright thats nice to know. And I am really upset that Emma Goldman was not featured in it. Was she not prominent in the authors time. Or was he sexist?

She was in it....

Edit: There are writings from her in the Kronstadt section. I remember there being others, but my memory is failing me.

There were several sections that featured Emma Goldman, hidden throughout... You just gotta search.

They have a very good inventory in my opinion but then again I've never been to any other leftist book store. And they are very organized and volunteer-based. They also have a "People's computer" which people can freely use the internet on. And on various nights they have leftist movie viewings or discussions right inside the store. Also they give out free pamphlets and blank poster board and markers to protestors who need supplies. Nice people too, and very good music in-store.

I've recently got a copy of that book as well, although I've not got round to reading it much yet.
