Im going to buy biographies on both Marx and Lenin relatively soon, and i was wondering if anyone of you could recommend a certain biography that stood out as the best biography on either of them. Thanx.

The best source I could find eas "Memories about Lenin",but this the russian edition and I don't know if it's of any help for you. It has 5 volumes, totalising 5000 pages of material..It's printed by the institute of marxism-leninism in Moscow. I raed part of it in roumanian, as it was translated 30 years ago.

How come when I asked this question I didn't get one single reply, and abstract asks it and he gets 3 good ones.

I haven't read the one by Robert Service (I think that's the big red one they're talking about above) myself, but I've been told that he is a right winger.
