I am looking for statistics regarding illiteracy rates, child mortality etc. in Angola from say, 1950 up until today.
I am also wondering if Cuba did anything else than fighting in Angola. I understand they did send doctors/health workers, but could anyone add anything more precise?
If we look away from safeguarding Angola's independence, what else has Cuba done for Angola?
Thanks

They sent health workers to Angola, and still do.
There are thousands of Cuban doctors working all over Africa.
"There are currently about 20,000 Cuban doctors working in 68 countries across three continents."

How many health workers did Cuba have in Angola in say, for instance, 1981, and how many do they have today?

Have you read "Conflicting Missions" by Gliejeses? It'll tell you a lot more about this stuff than you can find on the internet.
