2007 is nearly upon us, so it's time to reminisce about the best and worst of 2006... Or not. Anway, it IS time for the Revleft Literature and Film awards. I'm sure you know the drill, PM me your responses and feedback about the questions (ones you hated/liked/thought should have been included but weren't) etc. Sorry for any overlap with the Chitchat awards. :(

Depending on how many responses I get I'll have the results in a few weeks- although I am going overseas so may have to outsource some of it...

Anyway, without further babble- here are the categories:

Literature

Non-fiction book of the year

Fiction book of the year

Reactionary book of the year

Author of the year

Publication of the year (zines, journals, newspapers, whatever)

Reactionary publication of the year

Film

Film of the year

Reactionary film of the year

Actor of the year

Worst actor of the year

Over-hyped release of the year

Documentary release of the year

There should be a zine of the year category. Oh well. I will fill these out when I get some time.

My revolution has no required reading.

And, therefore, somewhat unfortunately, I don't think I've read enough books this year to complete that list. In fact, I don't think I've read any books that were released this year. And I certainly haven't seen enough films...
