Adicts- Viva la Revolution
Into the Dungeon with evil men
The people has risen we're free again
Come out of the closet
Come out of the hole
Come out of the woodwork
Come into the fold
Rebels and fighters, a license to kill
Unite with the bandits down from the hills
Open your windows
Open your doors
Open your minds
To a freedom of thought
[Chorus:]
Viva la revoloution
Viva la revoloution
Viva la revoloution
Viva la revoloution
Raise our voices, raise our flag
Smash the symbols of the life never had
Long live the symbols
Long live the scheme
Long live our hopes
Long live the dream
Dance in the streets at the carnival
Celebrate the victory now
Drink the wine from the rich man's cask
This revolution won't be the last
[Chorus x's 3]
Rebels and fighters, a license to kill
Unite with the bandits down from the hills
Open your windows
Open your doors
Open your minds
To a freedom of thought
Dance in the streets at the carnival
Celebrate the victory now
Drink the wine from the rich man's cask
This revolution won't be the last
The Casualties
The System Failed Us Once Again
THE SYSTEM FAILED US AGAIN
THE SYSTEM FAILED US AGAIN
Factory layoff, welfare checks
Who's to blame for the state we're in?
THE SYSTEM FAILED US
Government housing, concentration camps
Ghetto barriers separate each class
THE SYSTEM FAILED US
THE SYSTEM FAILED US AGAIN
THE SYSTEM FAILED US AGAIN
We've been pushed down into extinction
Talking about the infirmed, the elderly
Families can't afford health insurance
Have to choose - groceries to eat or medicine to live
Native cultures, praise the old
Through experience they've seen it all
THE SYSTEM FAILED US
There's a power in control
Making sure they won't teach the young
THE SYSTEM FAILED US
THE SYSTEM FAILED US AGAIN
THE SYSTEM FAILED US AGAIN
At charity care they treat you like shit
They've got jobs, so they don't care
So you must bow like a slave
You're future depends on the decision they make
THE SYSTEM FAILED US...
See benefits being taken away
From the people, who's money you take
THE SYSTEM FAILED US
Perhaps they know a little too much
Get rid of them before they talk
THE SYSTEM FAILED US
The Casualties

What album is that from, that must be post-Shane.
Is the Prodigals version of Roddy McCorley better than Shane's?

It's from Waiting for Herb, so definitely post Shane :) I don't like Waiting for Herb or Pogue Mahone all that much... they kinda lack the energy and everything - but I like the lyrics to Sitting on the Top of the World a lot.
As to which version of Roddy McC is better - I don't know, I love them both, but the Prodigals' version is more rousing, somehow :)

I haven't got too many communist sound tracks but out of what I got this is what it would look like...
Rebel with out a pause- public enemy
(the rest of these are old)
Les Partisans
L'internationale (french version, I couldn't find english) I'm listening to it right now
The Red flag (but my mp3 won't let me download it...)
The labourer's call (same story as the Red Flag)
and Hasta Siempre
(and by the way if any one wants to give me a site with more song that I can legally copy that would be great :D )
