Out of curiosity, are there any people on this who believe in a peaceful proletariat revolution? I've heard some Marxists (Who I refer to as reformists) say peaceful revolution is just as possible, but i've never gotten a solid answer. So if you can, explain the points of a peaceful revolution as detailed as ya can please! Or recommend books or whatever, either will be appreciated.

Personally, I belive that the ruling classes will not just steo aside, and so we need to remove them by force.
Have a look at this thread from a few months ago - thread about the situation in Oaxaca that sort of turns into a debate about peaceful/violent revolution (http://www.revolutionaryleft.com/index.php?showtopic=57199&hl=peaceful)

If the military and the technological nexus is taken over to the cause of the transformation of society, then it is possible. And more likely than a spontaneous revolution in some European country or the USA [heck, the only ones capable of doing any kind of insurrection in the USA is the evangelical movement, which represents some form of small town petty-bourgeoisie].

I believe that were enough people to rise up and oppose the bourgouise then a peaceful revolution would be possible. But we're talking like millions or even billions that would have to get the courage to do so for this to be possible, which is not likely. It will likely fall to a few organizations who began with peaceful revolution, and are then forced to violence by increasing government pressure. Hopefully the people will then see this example and realize the truth of their situation (as the exploited proletariat) and rise up, probably in violence.
