Has anyone seen it? It portrayes the infighting very well. Its about a Liverpudlian who goes out to fight the fash. I thoroughly enjoyed it! It shows how Stalin betrayed the people by not giving arm to the POUM and other Militas and only the Communist Party.

It's land and freedom I believe, but yes it is a really good film and through individual characters actually does a fantastic job of displaying the quarrels and events inside the Spanish Socialist movement during the Spanish revolution/Civil War. I'd also reccomend reading George Orwell's Homage to Catalonia, upon which Land and Freedom is loosley based.
