Urm, yes it is racism. The guy was being harrassed because he's Black... did you even read the article?
Also, I highly doubt if it had been the other way around the same consequences would have been handed down... or better yet if the defender was an off duty pig... hmmm... do you think he would have been punished.
And yeah, it main not be directly relating to fascism, but racist aspects of the state are fascistic measures of oppression, and combating such oppression is a frequent undertaking of anti-fascists and anti-racists, and is important aspect of serving the people and creating a presence within the mass movement and community spectrum.
But the sentencing didnt come because he was black. It may not have happened to a cop but he would have been so sentenced regardless of his race. Thats the English legal system.

You actually believe the British "Justice" system is impartial to skin colour??
If so you're a chump. No imperialist country is without it's racism rottenly and thouroughly to it's core.
And I think you need to look up the emaning of the word "fascism" racism in the state is nothing to do with fascism.
Saying racism has nothing to do with fascism is political immaturity. One of the most powerful fascist states to ever exist was based on racial theories (the nazis, duh).
Anyways, every fascist state is nationalist/imperialist by it's very nature. If all the jingoism and justification for colonialism is not racist, then please tell me what is.
BTW, I never said fascist. I said fascistic, meaning that the tendencies and means of repression are similiar and the same kinds of apects that are at the roots of fascism and fascist states.
