Obrador: He and his ex-Priista allies would have wanted to back Rosales, but his more radical supporters (the majority of PRD supporters in Mexico...) would have forced him into the Chavez camp.
Bachelet: She would have been one of those pseudo-social democrats who attempted to give the Rosales camp left-cred.
Kirchner: He would have been one of Chavez's less radical supporters.
Layton: Rosales all the way...The guy makes Petkoff look like a revolutionary Marxist...Though I'm not sure Bev Meslo or the Socialist Caucus would be very impressed...lol
Ortega: He's supposedly an ally of Chavez, but the policies on which he campaigned this past election put him much closer to the neo-liberal consenseus than to Chavez. If his moderation is truly a facade, he'd be in Chavez's court.
Vazquez: I don't know enough about him, but he doesn't strike me as being much more radical than Bachelet.
Sanders (The closest thing the U.S. has.): Chavez, but more out of a desire to protect American blue-collar workers from the worst excesses of neo-liberalism than out of any genuine solidarity with the Bolivarian Reform Movement/Revolution/Whatever the fuck it is right now.
Correa: Chavez, obviously.
Garcia: As much for Rosales as Humala is for Chavez.
Morales: Chavez's strongest supporter.
