Questioning my Government

I am just beginning to question the stability of my own government. I'm not sure if I could live under a government that is so untrustworthy,and so evil such as ours in America. My secret life dream has always been to be a KGB agent. I want that dream so bad,and would o anything to get..I am secretly a leftest. I am afraid to truly break free and expos my real self. So I am intrusting in all of you to help me along the way, help me break away from these chains. I really dont want to give my real name, but my comrades call me Katharina Volkov. Can become what I have been dreaming of since I was a young kid?

hmm how coincidental...second person to ask the same thing in the last 5 hours. Anyways, if you wish to know what true communism is, you should first start by reading The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx. Read about past revolutions, Che Guevara, Jose Marti, Comandante Marcos, Lenin, trotsky and other leftist figures. It is important to read as much as you can because forming your own opinion is what matters the most. A lot of what members discuss on here will help you also. Try looking at past threads in the learning forum and ask questions if you cannot find a specific one already answered.

I personally believe in TRUE communism. That would include a moneyless society that is free from classes, and benefits the entire community. But by all means, listen to other peoples opinions but always try to form your own if possible.

Don't just question America, Fight america! But do it smart. I did anti-american graffiti and got caught. I now am being tried as a terroristical threat to the country. Basically, they want to silence me. So yah, be smart about your activeness! As stated above, read as much political-left as you can. Marx is great, and I would definitly suggest starting small (Communist Manifesto) before attempting to read the advanced literatures (Kapital). Also, definitly study past revolutions, they help towards understanding a lot (and are just really interesting). Also helps to take notes on all this! Getting into leftist politics is like enrolling in a class! Your gonna be doing a lot of research :rolleyes:

As for me, well, i'm more of a pessimest when it comes to communism so I sort of believe in the lower-phase communism. "To each according to his ability to each according to his needs". Its nice and all, but I just don't see it happening. To utopist to determine as well, just a nice thought. But yah, the dictatorship of the proletariat I believe in, and the withering away (But never fully).

So yah! Glad to see you question'd America! If you wanna learn about how terrible it is i'd suggest you read books by Noam Chomsky. Prepare to want to put a bullet in every politicians head.

I understand how many of you think i am some right winger person. I am not, jut to clairfy..I have read many of these books that you all have pointed me towards(Thanks for the help Too!)I am really looking to form my own opinion,yes. I know the KGB no longer exists..I loved it because they were ruthless...so anyways..please anything else that would help,point me in the right direction!
