Yah, I know. Wars these day are more like strategic manuevers toward globalization. That is why I believe we must learn from as many people and sources that we can so that we are careful not to miss the real issues at hand, which is basically what Che was all about...saving the world that is...

Sadly, I think the situation in Iraq is going to get very bloody for all concerned.

Facts are, the Iraqi people wanted to be rid of Saddam, however they do not want to be occupied by imperialist America and they protest. Then they are shot.

The Americans have started tapping off the oil before they have gotten the water systems back on. The soldiers walk the streets, and they aggressively arrest any looters, and people with guns in their cars. They even have permission to shoot on looters.

The American military is calling for a disarmament of the Iraqi people; they want them to hand in their guns for an amnesty. That makes it easy for the US to control the country. Many of the Iraqis do not want to part with their guns, for they feel insecure without them, and some of them need to protect their businesses.

Expect more bloodshed.
