That is ingrained forever now I think. Reminds me of something I saw on a movie before I gave up TV. Rules of Engagement where in Vietnam the General guy shots the radio man. Yes.

I would imagine due to the victory of the North Vietnamese, there was not much use for any martyrs there.

I do feel due to the national coverage and pulitzer this photograph got (as soon as I read the opening post on this thread, I knew what photo you were referring to...as did the rest of you) it could definately be used as a tool for future movements...I would imagine it already has to a small degree on numerous occasions. I had never realised how chilling this photo was until I simply stared at it thinking of nothing else but what this man must have been thinking just seconds before this photo.

On a lighter note...Being a communist I could not even imagine dining in this blokes restaurant. Could you comrades?? I would have been constantly looking over my shoulder making sure this bastard did not try to run up and clip me straight away....
