Can anyone prove this statement incorrect? If you use good sources and a solid arguement, you win. If you cannot, I win. Here's the statement.

Communism/socialism has killed millions of people, oppressed human rights, and made the world a worser place to live.

P.S. let me know if "worser" is a word

Communism/socialism has killed millions of people, oppressed human rights, and made the world a worser place to live.

But socialism has never existed, never mind communism.

There - "proved wrong".

(*Tip: Read the definition of both socialism and communism before asking such a stupid question in future.)

Thank you. Let me rephrase my statement.

Goverments that call themselves Communist/Socialist have killed millions of people, oppresed human rights, and made the world a worser place to live.

What's your point?

Governments calling themselves democratic, free, or some other name have killed millions of people, oppresed human rights, and made the world a worser place to live.

Governments are going to kill people, more often than not.

you haven't disproved me. If you don't play the game you can't win.

Perhaps I'm being to vauge? Let's make it more specific. You can talk about what the US has done; I will talk about what Russia has done. They are the biggest of their theory so I'm using them.

P.S. Are you sure worser is a word?

oppresed human rights

Yes, as well as instilling other human rights, such as the right for everyone to have a free healthcare, free education, in the case of Russia; protecting oppressed ethnic minorities too, such as the Jews who had faced pogroms before the October revolution.

and made the world a worser place to live.

The WORLD!!! :o

And I'm sure Killing people for a different idealogy was not a human rights violation

And the Soviets would constantly deport people to Siberia whenever they felt like it.

This is the dumbest thread ever.

Who cares about what the Soviet Union was like?

 , well then I guess every "old" capitalist nation is guilty of this crime.

And the Soviets would constantly deport people to Siberia whenever they felt like it.

And when the Americans would constantly deport people to Guantanamo and Eastern Europe whenever they felt like it.

Prove yourself right, and, if you can do that, I might consider trying to prove you wrong.

You are not new, this question is not unexplored, you are not propositioning anything profound and quite frankly I'm totally bored of having to read this kind of bullshit from people who clearly have never spent longer than mommies drive to school contemplating a four syllable word they read somewhere in a book when they were looking for porn.

You're boring and for that I am closing this thread. Regardless, I have taken the time out of my relaxing Friday night to spend attempting to show how fucking stupid you are.

I hope you feel special.

Yes.

If you use good sources and a solid arguement, you win. If you cannot, I win. Here's the statement.

In arguments, if you make a statement the burden of proof lays with you. Why don't you provide some solid arguments to prove the statement you are making, or are we just to accept whatever you say as truth?

Communism/socialism has killed millions of people, oppressed human rights, and made the world a worser place to live.

Communism has never existed anywhere in the world ever. As for socialism killing people - Socialism is an ideology. It's an idea and as the old saying goes...People kill People. Does socialism work? That depends on what Socialism you are referring to.

If you ask whether people claiming to be socialists have "killed millions of people, oppressed human rights and made the worker a worser [sic] place to live in" then the answer is perhaps - It varies from Leninist to Leninist.

let me know if "worser" is a word

No, "worser" is not a word.
