Alright in my political science class, we are going to be doing debates. I randomly picked two topics i have to debate. One is pro legalization of cannabis for medicinal use, and the other is that free trade is a good thing.
I was wondering what you guys think I should do, I figure i have two choices, either debate the topic for real, saying the opposite of what I believe in for the sake of the debate, or I could do something similar to Stephen Colbert, on the Colbert Report, like how he makes conservatives look ridiculous while "supporting" them and their views.
If you guys think I should go with the second idea could you give me some things I should say.
I have one so far, "Sweatshops, a product of free trade, keep children off the streets where they would resort to crime to survive, and instead gives them a job where they gain a good work ethic." or something like that, Thanks.
