They are Marxist-Leninists. A split from the WWP. They support Cuba and Venezuela, and view Mao favourably despite their dislike for modern capitalist China. I dont know anything about their membership or activity.

More exactly: these Workers World types praise every regime that comes down the pike, as long as it happens to be in conflict with Washington. OK, they didn't manage to discover anything "socialist" about the Taliban, but that's the lone exception.
There's no apparent political difference between the Workers World Party and their PSL splitoff. Nobody knows for sure why the split occurred anyway.
In the split, the PSL got control of the ANSWER antiwar "coalition" - it's now their front group, formerly Workers World's. Workers World's primary antiwar front group is now the International Action Coalition. Both parties are mostly active through these front groups.

Actually I believe the main anti-war front for WWP is now the "Troops Out Now Coalition", at least in terms of actual protests and action. The IAC seems to be more concerned with anti-imperialist publications and the such.
As for the PSL and ANSWER, they're extremely active in the pro-immigrant movement as far as I've seen, as well as in defending Cuba. Can't vouch much for their other stuff but they generally seem very similar to the Workers World Party. I heard that the split arose because some rank-and-file members felt the WWP leadership was too entrenched and seperate and wanted a more fluid organization with a more bottom-up structure, but that was just what someone told me, could be hearsay.

OMG, that sounds like a really depressing missive from the front-line of sectarian bullshit.
