Hadn't heard about them until a few weeks ago, but I really like some of their stuff. They've got a few good videos up on YouTube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=pOtNqDyyX2c) also.

I have some of their albums, but haven't given them a proper listening0to yet. They played Reading Festival this year and according to a friend were pretty good.

I love them. I have Siren Song Of The CounterCulture, which, in my opinion, is the best CD ive ever listened to. I also have the one before that, with black masks and gasoline, and the new one, with ready to fall and stuff.

Rise Against is excellent. Their new CD is amazing, and is probably my favorite at the moment. Every song is awesome. Ive seen them live as well, and they really are very good.

I own Siren Song of the Counter Culture and their newest album The Sufferer and The Witness. SSCC is definitely their best album. "State of the Union" and "Rumors of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated" are my two favorite songs.

I just downloaded a few of thier songs, I really like the lyrics but Rise Against doesn't have the same intensity as Rage Against the Machine. If I had to choose between the rise against and rage I would take rage with out even thinking about it.

well of course, but they are two seperate genres of music, you cant compare them...besides rise against is more into the enviromental and animal movement than towards the more left side of things while rage was completely politics

I usually toss aside songs after I've listened to them about 25 times, but it's been about 2 weeks now and I still really like a lot of these songs.

I <3 RA. They have the best lyrics ever. I like paper wings alot (can play that) and track 8 on Sufferer and the Witness. It's so fookin miserable I loves it!!!
Also like the first drop, tip the scales and dancing for rain.

Pretty good band, missed seeing them thanks to one terrible traffic jam.

Two different genres of music. RA is more punk-rock, or used to be.

I can honestly say I think the new record is basically a steaming pile of shit.

Too Pop-punk for my tastes.
