Marx did have family relations who were Dutch and in fact received an inheritance late in his life from a "Dutch uncle."

Karl Marx was born in Trier, the oldest town in Germany.

You can visit his home there which is now the Karl Marx museum.

That was also mentioned in the website I posted. His grave is in England where he died in 1883
