White supremacists, fraternaty members (anybody see "Borat"?!), military servicemen, corporate CEOs, middle-managers, their lackeys, alpha-males, alpha male-wannabees and other human scum reported: THRILLED!
"He's a hero maaaaannnnnnn!!!!!!!" "Those fucking minorities have it so easy in this country." "Fuck all you commie liberal pussies!!!"
I wonder how many people all over the U$A are saying this since this story broke?
Let's put Kramer aside for a minute and let's pretend he's the United States Government? It's painfully obvious that his career has been in decay ever since "Seinfeld" and it's painfully obvious that the ruling class in Amerikkka has been in the decline rather recently. This is what happens when people of privilege, and ruling classes are in the decline. They act with "vengence" and "desperation" at the "slightest hint of insecurity" and they tend to take out their frustration on those that "oppose it" and those that it perceives as "weaker". Kramer's tirade against his opponents illustrates this perfectly.
What am I getting at here? Is fascism inevitable in the USA? Can anyone here imagine that if "things get really desperate for the ruling class in the USA"--which is inevitable according to Marxist theory--can we expect this type of "behavior" from this government?
Or will the working-class and ruling class defectors not put up with it? Or in the other scenario, "be in agreement" with its policies? Remember World War I?

Plus he's an asshole. It does however show just how thin the veneer of racial equality is. I bet had you asked him his opinions on race before the tirade he'd have given some weepy Martin-Luther-King-is-my-hero type speech.
Richards claimed to have made amends, stating that he felt sorry about his behavior.
I sincerely doubt he'd have got within spitting distance of any offended party long enough to apologise. Maybe he mailed a cheque to some charity on the advice of PR-monkeys. Big fucking whoop.

I heard he had contacted Jesse Jackson for help with his image, but I doubt Jackson will do much, we had some race riots up near us a while ago and Jesse Jackson offered to come up and speak, the city refused.

Fucking racist asshole. I hope he dies in a fire. He gave an appology, but how the fuck do you appologise for shit like that? "50 years ago we would have turned you upside down and stuck a fork up your ass!"
Man... fuck him.

He has been banned from the laugh factory for the time being, I think he should be banned for life, I also think those in the audience who shouted back "cracker" at him should be banned. Hurling ethnic slurs is never acceptable.

It's interesting that 5 days after this, reports came out about his anti-Semitic remarks which he made back in April 2006. Evidently, he called someone a "fucking Jew" and blamed him for the death of Jesus.

Come on, a Black person who says 'cracker' in response to an extremely racist rant should be treated the same as the person ranting about 'cheap' 'niggers' who should be hung upside from trees?
How on earth are those two words or actions equivalent?

Wasn't Kramer revealed to be a commie in one episode of Seinfeld?
Quite ironic. :D

Yeah, he's giving the line of "anger problems, but I'm not a racist". It's hard for me to believe that you would go off on a rant like that if you weren't a racist.

Yeah exactly. If you weren't racist, it wouldn't occur to you to hurl racist insults at someone in the first place.
Also I very much doubt that any apology he offers would be serious. In cases like this it's usuallu "I'm sorry that I've killed my career" more than anything else.

Haha naw it was Elaines boyfriend.
But yea, I don't have any sympathy for him because making such statements is wrong. Being heckeled is part of the job. Deal with it. But I don't know, anger problems can sometimes make you say things you wouldn't normally say, but it still makes no sence he wouldn't have addressed this issue before the media exploited it.

It was clearly an attempt at (1) shocking the audience like "all good comedians" do and (2) avoiding embarassment from being heckled. It didn't work because he's crap at stand-up and now he's claiming that his anger is out of control. Bullshit.
He's a racist pig.

Bill Hicks' famous tirade against a "drunken ****" in an audience was an example of a controlled rampage. He lit on a woman heckler ruthlessly, but then stopped for another audience member heckler because "he was polite, he waited for a pause. He's thought this through....". You can be funny without dehumanising a person, and sometimes by dehumanising the person. It depends on the comedians talent. Richards just went on total offensive. Theres no comedy twist to it in my opinion.

What a fucking dick. He shouldn't be allowed to appear on tv or make any performances ever again. He should be punished that way.

Nah, he's actually making fun of them by stealth. It would be understandable that a backward, ignorant peasant in third world backwater country (which the real Kazakhstan is not) to act that way because he grew up only knowing that kind of stupid, bigotted shit, but he transferred what was natural and understandable for the character that he is playing, Borat, to what was supposedly the best country in the world as viewed by arrogant Americans. In that way he exposed the supposed enlightened and democratic Americans to be the racist, homophobic, bigotted assholes they actually are.
Just watch the movie and see what kind of pranks he pulls and you be the judge. Remember he's just playing a unrealistic character to get at what people really thinks.
He makes fun of "gangsta" culture. (an entirely manufactured corporate image for "wiggers")
He makes fun of nationalists (his "kazakhstan" anthem overlaid on the American anthem)
He makes fun of a "cultured" southern diners club (bringing crap in a bag after visiting the washroom, and bringing an "escort" in for dinner)
He makes fun of marriage (his signature bridal sack for Pamela Anderson)
He makes fun of religion (speaking in tongues after learning it from the idiots doing it first)

He made a mistake.
Whether he was drunk, whatever.
It was one night and it's absolutely wrong to judge someone on one night of their life.
Unless it physically harms someone, which he honest to god didnt. He was fucking wrong, and he probably is a racist piece of shit. But people can also say shit they dont mean when theyre drunk, and, as the one guy pointed out, he did seem kinda drunk.

Drunk or not, you don't spew that kind of shit unless you're used to saying and thinking the shit he said, plus he didn't even say anything about it until the media got hold of the story. I have no respect for him and I'm glad his life is ruined, if he wasn't washed up before he sure is now.
