hey i clicked on your name thing and noticed you were from Cork. I went there on holiday two years ago, it was really nice. Ireland's one of the best places I've ever been.

wow i was expecting some social-dem site that talked about reform of welfare or some shit. they are real revolutionaries though. I would love to see Ireland become one of the first truly workers run countries.

I wouldnt get too excited - it certainly started as a dynamic lively tradition when it broke out of the older 'officials', but very soon the INLA became bogged down in military action which meant the IRSP was marginalised as a political party - on the old republicant pattern of the military wing underminining the political wing. The dissidents like bernadette macALiskey were moved out and the history after that was a sorry decline into bitter murderous feuds, reckless militarism and disturbing reports of criminality (which I pass no judgement on).
Lets put it this way : if the IRSPs ever make it back to life, Lazarus will beput to shame - in political terms this is one dead parrot.
