Does anybody else listen to Phil Ochs, or what do people think of him? If youve never heard him, then just limewire him, some of my favourite songs are:
Is there Anybody Here?
Crucifixion
Cops of the World
Heres to the State of Mississippi
Love Me Im a Liberal
Ballad of Medger Evans
I Aint Marching Anymore
Draft Dodger Rag

and a whole slew of others. Good political folk music from the mid 60's.

Anybody else like him? Or not?

Yeah, he's absolutely amazing, highly recommended. I've listened to a few of his songs, but not too many, so I'm looking to get my hands on some more. My favorite songs are "I'm Not Marching Anymore", "Sound of Revolution" and "The Marines Have Landed on the Sands of Santo Domingo" (at least that's the chorus).

EDIT: "There but for Fortune" is also a great song.

I have one of their albums in mp3 but I haven't listened to it yet. I heard "The Bells" though. Oh and the song celtopunk added to a compilation he made whose name I can't remember right now.

Cops of the World is the song you are referring to.

It appeared on Celtopunk's Cool Leftist Folk Volume 1.

It goes for big bucks on ebay.
