That's cool if you don't have sufficient funds, don't worry, but if you know someone who does please refer them to that site. I'm currently collecting donations at school along with the rest of the university bike club.

The FPM DR Branch often gets bikes out to young boys and girls who have no way to get to school (and there are alot like that).

The only problem with these sort of things is "over head". Alot of the charities are keeping 80% of the donations for "costs" and only using 20% towards the stated purpose.

Besides, we need to devote our megre resources towards the fight for socialism, so that we don't need what little bit charities accomplish at all.

true there are numerous problems associated with charities, however this one seems to actually be impacting people's lives. If you know of any other groups that are doing similar things please list the links.

I definately support the cause(not necessarily the foundation), but those bikes in the pictures do not look like they cost 80-90 dollars. They look around 50!
