Battle of Mice is a new act whose album is just being released this month on Neurot Recordings. The group is made up of members of Made Out of Babies and Red Sparrowes and have an incredibly unique sound. Their songs remind me of children's fairy tales put to music, in that they are fanciful, yet creepy at the same time.

i can't for the life of me think of a similar sounding band. it sounds like a sound track for where the wild things are

I've been listening to it since I downloaded it, creepy but cool music, especially the beginning part.

Yeah it's quite original. Have you ever listened to a band named Opeth? They are quite amazing as well in my opinion.
