Hi everyone! First time poster here! Good to be in a left wing community. I have no concrete political philosophy but I am learning and am interested in discussing different issues and concerns about the world with you all. I am especially interested in things affecting women's issues and I'd like to be a pro-liberation person as opposed to the type of feminist that believes all men are the Devil. I certainly do not.

Anyhoo, this is my introduction and I look forward to chatting with everyone in the near future!

Hi

I' m quite new and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for making a political statement at school? I don't think we should be ashamed of our political views and it's about time we stood up to the oppression.

Ye communism for the uk. Im in yr 10 nd a leftist and want to make my voice heard in school. I just draw hammer and sickles stars and circled "A"s every where. My teacher knows im a communist, but my fellow stundents are concerned dodnt even know who Mark,Lenin che or Castro are let alone the ideologys of communism. In history earlier this year I was the only one to know what communism was, my friend thought it was a peace treaty.lol.We need to be educated un-biasedly in school. I think there should be a politics leson....we should write to the PM or something

Yeah I think being taught politics would be a good idea, because it would help educate the morons who insult communism without even knowing what it is. I know there are many people at our school who are ready to denounce communism and anarchism without having the faintest idea about what they about. In our class a group of lads have set up the 'fascist gang' just to get back at us enlightened lefties. Their main method of recruitment is to ask people to join them, whilst threatening them with a cricket bat.

My friends are not fascist just stupid stereotyping racists who havnt the faintesed idea of why al-quaeda exist, because of right wing scum, like america etc invading Iraq-they just blame anyone who is asian or as they say "a paki" for a minority of asians being violent. The media ignores BNP members being aressted on terror charges because they are white, and dont fit the scrip of war on terror(muslims). The media is partly to blame for the racism in people who dont know a thing about politics. They dodnt think every irishman is an IRA member, but every muslim to them is al-quaeda

By the way the 'fascist gang' are not my friends! Basically, we try to convince people to join our communist cause through clever arguements and wit, whilst the fascists call us 'commie scum' and attack people with a cricket bat.

Nah, they're all pretty funny, stupid, but funny.

There is only one cricket bat, which is obviously demonstrating marxist theory... :P.

Here's a pretty good intro of what a classless, moneyless, and stateless society would be like if the masses ever reached true communism:
