Hey all. Meaningless municipal elections today. I did end up going out to vote, even though it was generally a waist of time.

I Voted for mayor, Joseph Young who's a Trotskyite with the Communist League (The Pathfinder Press one).

I'm in "ward 30". For Councillor I picked Edward Chin, who seems to be a Green but is the most leftist choice.

For Schoolboard Trustee, I picked Gord Grann. The only reason I picked him is the only other candidate is Cathy Dandy who is affiliated with Paula Fletcher (incumbant and winner for city council).

Paula Fletcher was leader of the Manitoba wing of the Communist Party of Canada, and she later moved to Ontario. After the collapse of the USSR, this dispicable traitor, not bad enough being a revisionist as it is, helped liquidate membership over to the Social-Democratic NDP, as well as property (such as the big building on Cecil St.), assests and money. The fact that I would rather vote for a Trot and/or Green over this labour bueruecrat speaks on how much I despise someone of the sort. In fact, I would regard a Coservative party member as someone much more honest and trustworthy.

Anyways, just thought I'd share my "rant" about Fletcher the traitor.

I'm curious if anyone else in Toronto/Ontario bothered to vote...
