I was wondering if anyone had heard of these poets/musicians
Gil Scott Heron-Jazz/Funk/early rap
the Last Poets-Early rap/funk
Linton Kewsi Johnson-Dub reggae/dub poetry
They are all very political, LKJ was anti-thatcher/anti-sus. also a member of the Black Panthers), Gil Scott-Heron hated the capitalist racist america, and hated Reggan, Nixon(H2O-gate blues)etc. And the Last Poets and GSH proficised the revolution (When the rev. comes-Last Poets and the rev. will not be telivised-GSH)
