If you like one of these options but think perhaps it would better if it was modified slightly, please vote for it anyway, just post how you think it should modified in this thread,

For example, GuerillArt could be written as Guerilla Art,

The Revolution Will be Stencilized! Could be written without the exclamation point,

Outlines of a Revolution could be written as Outlines of the revolution.

If this is the case, please post your preference in this thread, otherwise i'll assume you're cool with the way the name is presented in the poll.

Cheers

Excuse me while I interrupt this dumb-fest with the only shred of sensibility in this whole fucking discussion.
The point of a name for this, or anything, is to let people know what the fuck it is. Who the fuck is going to look at, open, download, or whatever something called "The Revolution Will Be Stencilized"? I don't know. It could be anything. It could be a book, a song, an essay, a painting, a sculpture, a poem, a website, a band, a video game, a magazine, your mom, etc.

For the purpose of objectiveness, just call the motherfucker what it is: Revolutionaryleft.com's Database of Revolutionary Leftist Stencils

or some variation of that

The word "Stencilized" kind of gives it away.

No it doesn't. Perhaps it gives it away that it deals with stencils.
Take Guerrillart, then, for instance. Or outlines of a revolution. All way too vague for a title.

The site is gonna be advertised on redapollo and on this site as a stencil databse, so traffic coming from those two sites (probably two of its largest sources of traffic) will be people who understand what it is regardless of the name.

Second, the site's name is irrelevant for two reasons. One need only look at the home page of the site for a second to see that it's all about stencils. Two, underneath where it says 'GuerrillArt/Outlines of the Revolution/etc,' it says Revolutionary Left Stencil Database.

The word 'stencil' is used thousands of times around the site (as well as obviously in the subtitle i just mentioned), so anyone searching for stencils will come across the site in their hit list.

It's not Revlefts' database of revleft stencils, it's an independant site, hosted by redapollo (not revleft), that is affiliated with the revleft site and community primarily because i am the mod of the graphics forum and along with encephalon, responsible for the site. The site itself requires people to create accounts if they wish to upload their own photos or stencils, and who knows, maybe a small discussion forum might be added at a later depending on how things go. But the site is not the property of revleft.com, it's an independant project working in conjuction with this site and its community.

So is it going to be 'the' or 'a'? 'The' sounds so much more powerful.

I like Outlines of a Revolution; but I think it would sound more appealing if it were Outlines of the Revolution.
