I have to read any historical fiction book for an english class. I was hoping to do the Russian Revolution or something in that area, but anything will do. If you have suggestions, please let me know!
PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, dont know where it'd go.

The Bible.
He said historical. <_<
If you want to be reading forever you could read A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. It's set around the time of partition in India/Pakistan.

As a slightly less serious option I would heartily recommend any of Bernard Cornwell's books - almost all of them are set in famous historical settings and are damn good reads.
Of course, if you have to do some serious book project on the book he's probably not the guy to read; in his words "I'll never win the Booker Prize because people actually want to read my books".
