Don't ask why I posted these. It's sunday, im bored, andI just woke up and had a strange fascination with the idea that...these places aren't earth, it's really strange, we weren't naturally meant to ever see these places...I dunno I can't really explain what im on about. Post pictures of other planets/moons we have been to, I can't think of any others.

It's a bit of the stone that the robot drilled, its drills a thin layer of the rock off, to take back home or experiment on there or something.

The rover had digging and sanding tools, used to scrape the rocks to see below the surface.

You know, when we do finally send men to Mars, that is going to be seriously fucked up. Standing on another planet. I mean the standing on the Moon is pretty wierd, but it's familiar, like a neighbor, we can all see it. But actually standing on Mars, that is going to be really, really freaky.

If I were on the team, I'd want to hike off on my own, over a hill, so I can't see the others, and stand there, alone, on another planet.

And once the spiritual moment had passed, I'd take out a spray can and tag a boulder, then run back giggling like a schoolgirl.
