I'm a bit confused about this, I always thought that Bloody Sunday happened in Ireland, then I heard about one in Russia and then one in the US in Martin Luther King's time. Please can people tell me how many there were and what happened at each one? Thanks loads.

Well what happened in the [London]Derry Civil rights march of 1972 was that the British Army opened fire indiscriminatley on innocent individuals. There were reports of IRA gunmen but only a couple abouts of the 13 killed were believed to be with the IRA. Some people killed were as young as 16years and some shot as they tried to tend to the dead or injured.
There has been some controversy as to who gave the orders to fire and it was believed that soldiers planted pipe bombs, explosives and stones on the dead to make them look like they were causing trouble.

There's been numerous Bloody Sundays over the years.
Bloody Sunday in Russia, involved a demonstration outside the Tsar's Winter Palace when Russian guards shot the protestors.
The Bloody Sunday described by happyguy above, isn't the first BS in Irish history. After Michael Collins had many Government agents in this country assassinated in the 1920s War of Independance, the British army drove into a Gaelic football ground in a tank and began shooting spectators indiscrimanately.

Yes, the 21st November 1920 the Black and Tans (British helping the Royal Irish Constabulary) were responsible for this 12 killed, 60 injured in Croke Park.

bloody sunday in russia is the best one for me to comment on i think:
it was in 1905, a peaceful protest which was led by a man called father gapon. They marched to the winter palace unarmed with a petition and icons of the tsar to show there love for him. The petition aksed for changes to their work conditions and pay. The tsar had received a letter from father gapon telling him when it would be and that it would be an unarmed and completely peaceful protest. At the start of the protest, he took all weapons off of anyone in the protest too make sure that it would be kept peaceful.
Troops open fired on the protestors from the inside of the winter palace.
yea thats all i can remember just now off the top of my head. Ill put a better post tomorow when my brain is working better
