Noticed some people had put fascist forum links down for the purposes of agitation so it struck me as logical that the capitalists must have one too.

I registered there the other day, i like to see both sides of an arguement before coming to a conclusion. I was also trying to educate this predominently US inhabited forum. Went on it this evening and i am now banned. I have not expressed any views that i deem to be communist or even socialist ones yet i have an IP ban. If i explained why i joined i would most likley of been banned as well. It seems that these people don't seem to be very open to arguments which aren't capitalist.

I got IP banned after 2 posts. HA! Beat that! :P (my id was anti_you incidentally)
Really just goes to prove that the capitalists would rather ban opinions they cant argue with. They dont like the truth you see. At least revleft gives them the right to reply which is more than can be said for this lot.

This is the stupidest shit I've read:
"Don't Call Me Lucky"
By Debbie Brannigan
Déjà vu:
1) An impression of having seen or experienced something before
2) A dull familiarity: monotony
I have had the same verbal exchange so many times now that I can almost script it. It's like being in a predictable Twilight Zone episode. I know every line and what the out-come will be yet I am doomed to sit and endure every moment up to it's inevitable conclusion.
It always starts and ends the same:
"...but other people are not as lucky as you and I are. "
"Define 'lucky': what do you mean by that?"
"I mean that other people aren't lucky enough to be college educated like us."
"So you scratch a winning lotto card now to get a degree? When did they start that?"
"You know what I mean! I mean that other people can't afford college educations and they're forced to work at minimum wage jobs, wearing name tags and serving burgers."
"I'm not college educated. I dropped out of high school at age 16. By 17 I was pregnant and by 18 I was a teen mom. I worked 16 hour days at multiple minimum wage jobs, wore a nametag, and yes, I served many burgers through the drive through window. Now tell me, if I'm so 'lucky', what did I have that these so called nameless others did not?"
I never get an answer. They 'blank out', as Ayn Rand used to call it. I've had this discussion with a college co-op student, co-workers and neighbors. The faces change but the basic premise of their argument is always the same: other people are helpless and just plain stupid. They cannot get ahead without intervention by those who know best. How elitist is that!? Typical.
Nothing angers me more than to be called lucky. It is always those people who have never seen hard financial times that attach the lucky label to wealth, without ever once considering that it had to be created. An effort was made by somebody at some time to achieve their current comfort level.
I made poor choices in life, which led to poor situations. These were MY choices and therefore MY responsibility to change the situation I put myself in. And just as there was no 'bad luck', which landed me into my seemingly dead-end lifestyle, there was no 'good luck' that got me out of it. One job wasn't enough, so I got two more. I worked 16-hour days for two years, never having a day off. Eventually, I got better jobs and worked less. I took every free class I could find. I paid for summer computer courses and went at night after working ten-hour days. I invested a lot of time, energy and effort to improve myself and it paid off. What did I have that the so-called nameless others did not? The answer seems simple enough: ambition. When people attribute it to 'luck' it undermines the effort required behind it. I am not the only proof that success can be achieved through hard work in a free society. Look at the immigrants who come here with nothing and succeed.
I worked very hard to achieve my goals and self-respect. Don't call me lucky: call me a Capitalist!
Yes, because working up like that is possible for just about ANYONE to achieve and all we're lacking in is ambition:rolleyes: because OF COURSE people love to work shitty jobs. As far as the Ayn Rand devotion, most people consider the Rand-ians to essentially be a cult.

I've sometimes wondered if there is a connection between these two. Could it be that those who promote and preach socialism, communism, or any such collectivist system do so because they feel unable to meet the demands of a truly free society? Do they feel inadequate to compete with others and feel the only way to build themselves up is to take from others?
There we have it guys and gals. They have cracked into the complex mind of a revolutionary and found the reason we act so insane.
Socialists and Commies also tend to be elitests who think they know better than everyone else and want the power to control the world. They think they have vision and foresight that few others have. This is usually due to an Ivy League education in something completely useless like Russian Literature or Feminism. So they are useless people who can manipulate language and philosophy to convince people of any old rediculous idea. They feel a little guilty about being useless as well and this is the primary motivtion and so they decide to try to change the world to make up for being leeches. And worse they think they will do such a great job, ya know, since they are so, so intelligent.
But they pretend to be meek and humble and selfless, for the people.
Well, I don't know about you, but I'm getting the chills... Spot on!

They dont "want" anyone to do anything, man. Remember, capitalism is all about consent. You arent an employee, you are a independent contractor. If you have a shitty job, its because you consented to one, its not their fault you're poor and have to eat!

TAKN
TAKN stands for ThisAnarchistKillsNazis. I'm an anarcho-communist from Britain. I stand for internationalism, revolution, egalitarianism and libertarian socialism.
I do so beacuse I feel that capitalism does not benefit most of the world. Instead, it exploits them. Capitalists wage wars, but send the workers to die for their governments. Being born to a certain family means being obscenely rich, or desperately poor. Being born a certain colour or having certain sexual organs makes people unequal. Capitalism was the death of feudalism, adn communism will be the death of capitalism.
LaszloWalrus
Why do you stand for these things?
LOL! The guy asked him why he stood for these things the first time, TAKN responded and then...he asks him the very same question after TAKN already explained why! What a doofus! Guess he's not very quick now is he?

Because, it's good when people challenge your ideas. It makes you think more about your ideology. If you provide intelligent responses, it makes them think about theirs. Several members of that forum have become socialists or at least social democrats after I talked to them.

Once again our forum is under assault by certain obnoxious persons who seem to think it is their right to cause trouble. Naturally, they should be kicked out, but we don't want them to come back right away and I have a couple of suggestions in that regard:
(1) Put a temporary moratorium on new users. Hopefully tweedle dee and tweedle dumb will have calmed down or gone elsewhere by the time the ban is lifted and won't be a continuing problem.
(2) A more permanent solution would be to implement a waiting period for all new users. That wouldn't completely eliminate assaults by retrograde induhviduals, but it would make them less frequent.
If, for example, a new user was not allowed to make a post for a month after signing up, that would limit the assaults by trouble makers to once a month and, more importantly, would serve the same purpose as a moratorium in that it would give the hot-heads a chance to cool down and forget about us.
The primary question is whether a waiting period would stifle the legitimate growth of the forum to an unacceptable degree. Another question is whether it is possible using the existing software or how difficult it would be to modify the software to make it possible.

I'm not the type to bash people, I try some arguments and see how they react. I managed to divert them from socialism = self-esteem (in political forum) to 'is capitalism freedom or not'?
I'm not a good speaker, nor writer, but I'm trying to see how these people react. So far some do well but unlike here most don't give good reasons why capitalism should be defended. No it's my turn to try to defend socialism without betraying myself :P

I should start using theories and evidences against capitalism (problems with the market, the thread of revolution, the problem with accumulation of money). I still don't want to bash'em... doesn't help at all...but ignoring them can. Well, at least they shoudl learn freedom isn't as easy to define as they think it is.. they're more thinking of the capitalist anarchy than real freedom.
