Hi all! I've been lurking here a couple of days and decided I should go ahead and join. I am an American anarchist with militant leanings, (but I have to be quiet about it due to my current employment :ph34r: ) and I'm currently working or getting a nonbiased magazine that covers social and political issues off the ground. I hope I can learn a little from all of you.

Welcome :D What state are you from comrade? I'm an Anarchist (or anti-state communist whichever folks prefer to call me, i'm not big on labels for myself) from CA.

I'm from Texas but currently live outside the US(I'm currently unfortunately military). I guess technically I'm a Individualistic Anarchist... or something between that and social anarchism.

wow, how did an anarchist wind up in the military?

There was alot of family preassure to sell myself, and I used to be more of a moderate libertarian. I have since had a change of heart.

Yes it is very much your stereotypical alpha male society. I am in the USMC and if you've seen Full Metal Jacket or Jarhead they are both excellent representations of the corps. I do not exist as an individual. If my superiors recognised me as an individual that would somehow undermine the power they have been granted not due to knowledge or leadership abillity, but because they can run fast, do a lot of pull ups, and kill a man from 500yard without breaking a sweat. I'm on the downhill side of my enlistment and I am counting the days.
