I can't believe Ecuadoreans are going to vote for a fucking billionaire with a history of using child labour and sending paramilitary groups after workers attempting to unionise at his banana plantations. Especially after all the suffering inflicted upon their country by the past decade of neo-liberal swindlers.

I hope by job creation, Noboa means sweat-shop labour for all those rich *****es and pricks and pampered princes and princesses in Guayaquil! Give those worthless fucks a taste of what the rest of Latin America has to live through.

Noboa's first place status is causing allegations of fraud from Correa supporters who have tried to distance themselves from Chavez since the elections began.

Correa portrays himself as a fresh-faced outsider who will challenge a corrupt oligarchy.

That says Chavez all over it, despite what Correa says. Im afraid for many people the coice is rapidly made between the rabid Communist Chavez is seen as by certain strata of society and an honest looking, bible-bashing populist. i remeber in Mexico Many anti PRD people felt that leftism brought social upheaval and disruption in daily life. I imagine Ecuadoreans feel Correa will bring instability, while a they feel a buisness man cannot be incosistent because he must honor his buisness engangement. ALso the religious elements probably did not fall on deaf ears.
