Could someone say about showing of soviet movies by cinema theaters in USA at the period of "cold war"? Were russian films whether banned or restricted or american people was not interested in russian cinema?
As a note, the distribution of movies produced in the USA were restricted in the USSR by ideological reasons. A couple of movies were shown for instance which i remember: "The tired out horses adjust (are shoot), whether the truth?", "This is the mad mad mad mad world", "The magnificent seven" (translation could be not quite correct)
Thanks
